Fusidic Acid 2% Ointment is a topical antibiotic used to treat bacterial skin infections. It contains Fusidic Acid, a steroid-free antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thus preventing the growth and spread of bacteria.

Indications
- Skin Infections: Treatment of superficial bacterial infections like impetigo, folliculitis, eczema, infected wounds, abrasions, and boils.
- Staphylococcal Infections: Effective against infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus and other susceptible bacteria.
Dosage and Administration
Apply a thin layer of the ointment to the affected area 2-3 times a day or as directed by a healthcare provider.
Clean and dry the infected area before application.
Continue use for the prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve before completion.
Precautions
Allergy: Avoid if allergic to Fusidic Acid or any other ingredients in the ointment.
Not for Eye Use: Do not apply to eyes, mucous membranes, or open wounds unless directed by a doctor.
