Ketcan Lotion
Ketoconazole 2% w/w Lotion is a topical antifungal treatment that contains Ketoconazole, a medication that inhibits the growth of fungi. It is used to treat various fungal skin infections and conditions caused by yeast or dermatophytes.

Indication
- Seborrheic dermatitis (inflammation and flaking of the skin, commonly on the scalp or face)
- Tinea infections (ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch)
- Pityriasis versicolor (a fungal infection that causes light or dark patches on the skin)
- Candidiasis (skin yeast infections)
Dosage and Administration
Application: Apply a thin layer of Ketoconazole 2% Lotion to the affected area once or twice daily, depending on the healthcare provider’s instructions.
Instructions: Gently rub the lotion into the affected skin. Avoid applying to broken or irritated skin.
Duration: Continue using the lotion for the full duration prescribed, even if symptoms improve, to prevent recurrence.
Precautions
Allergic Reaction: Discontinue use and consult a doctor if you develop signs of an allergic reaction, such as a rash, swelling, or itching.
Avoid Eyes & Mucous Membranes: Do not let the lotion come into contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Consult a healthcare provider before using if pregnant or breastfeeding.
Skin Irritation: If you experience excessive irritation, redness, or a worsening of symptoms, stop using and contact your doctor.
