LTCET-M Syrup
LTCET-M Syrup is a combination of montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, and levocetirizine, a second-generation antihistamine. This syrup formulation is designed for pediatric patients or individuals who prefer liquid medication. It provides dual action to effectively manage allergic conditions such as rhinitis, chronic urticaria, and asthma symptoms by blocking both histamine release and leukotriene activity.

Indication
- Seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever)
- Perennial allergic rhinitis
- Chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives)
- Asthma (as an adjunct treatment)
Dosage and Administration
Route of Administration: Oral syrup.
Typical dose for children aged 2-6 years: 1 teaspoon (5 mL) of syrup, once daily in the evening, containing 4 mg montelukast and 2.5 mg levocetirizine.
Children aged 6-12 years: 2 teaspoons (10 mL) once daily.
Adults and children over 12 years: Consult healthcare provider for dosage adjustments.
Elderly or patients with renal or hepatic impairment: Consult healthcare provider for appropriate dosage adjustments.
Precautions
Avoid use in patients with known hypersensitivity to montelukast, levocetirizine, or any component of the syrup.
Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment.
Not recommended during breastfeeding without consulting a healthcare provider.
