Indication
- Seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever)
- Perennial allergic rhinitis
- Chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives)
- Asthma (as an adjunct treatment)
Dosage and Administration
Route of Administration: Oral tablet, taken once daily.
Typical dose for adults and children over 15 years: 1 tablet (10 mg montelukast, 5 mg levocetirizine) once daily in the evening.
Children aged 6-14 years: 1 tablet (10 mg montelukast, 5 mg levocetirizine) once daily, as directed by a healthcare provider.
Elderly or patients with renal or hepatic impairment: Consult a healthcare provider for appropriate dosage adjustments.
Precautions
Avoid use in patients with known hypersensitivity to montelukast, levocetirizine, or any component of the tablet.
Use caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment.
Not recommended during breastfeeding without consulting a healthcare provider.
