Toyclav-Duo

Amoxicillin (400 mg) combined with Clavulanate (57 mg) is an effective antibiotic formulation used to treat various bacterial infections, including those caused by resistant organisms. Clavulanate protects Amoxicillin from being inactivated by beta-lactamase enzymes produced by some bacteria, enhancing its efficacy.

Benefits

The combination of amoxicillin and clavulanate is effective against a broad range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as beta-lactamase-producing organisms that are resistant to amoxicillin alone.

Clavulanate helps protect amoxicillin from being broken down by bacterial enzymes (beta-lactamases), making this combination especially useful for treating infections caused by resistant bacteria.

The dry suspension format is easy for children or individuals who may have difficulty swallowing tablets.

Used widely to treat infections of the ear, throat, respiratory tract, urinary tract, and skin, this combination is a well-established treatment option for several common infections.
